LONDON — TikTok has launched a new suite of advertising tools aimed at brands in the Middle East and North Africa, including an automated campaign creation feature and several region-specific ad formats, the company announced at Cannes Lions 2026.

The headline product, Symphony Agent, is a tool that automates campaign creation for advertisers. Built with what the company describes as “cultural intelligence,” it generates video content, identifies relevant creator material, and suggests creators based on an advertiser’s goals and data drawn from trending content on the platform. It is integrated across TikTok’s Symphony Creative Studio, Content Suite, and TikTok One.

“With Symphony Agent, brands can move seamlessly from audience insights to creative concepts, and from content creation to measurable impact, faster than ever before,” said Shadi Kandil, general manager of global business solutions for the MENA region.

New Ad Formats for MENA

The platform also introduced several ad formats now available to MENA brands, including:

  • Logo Takeover: Exclusive visibility when users open the app

  • Prime Time: A sequential format delivering up to three ads within a 15-minute window

  • TopReach: Bundling TikTok’s two most prominent placements — TopView and TopFeed — into a single buy

  • Search Hubs: Brand pages placed at the top of search results

TikTok also expanded its Market Scope measurement tool with new industry, e-commerce, and creative insights modules. On the creative production side, ByteDance’s next-generation video model is now integrated into TikTok Symphony, with a new “Reference to Video” feature allowing advertisers to specify particular images or products within generated content.

The announcements reflect TikTok’s push to capture more advertising spend in the MENA region, where digital ad spending continues to grow. By automating campaign creation and offering more targeted ad formats, the platform aims to attract both large brands and small businesses looking for measurable results.
