Cartier Hosts Star-Studded Gathering of Regional Celebrities in Türkiye

French jewelry brand Cartier brought its “Into the Wild” event to Buyukada, one of Istanbul’s Princes’ Islands, gathering an international mix of actors, filmmakers, presenters, and cultural figures to celebrate the maison’s longstanding fascination with the animal kingdom.

Held from August 26 to 28, the event drew a guest list reflecting Cartier’s expanding global cultural presence, bringing together prominent names from Turkiye, the Middle East, and India. Attendees included actor Baris Arduc and actress Tuba Buyukustun, alongside actress Razane Jammal, filmmaker and actress Nadine Labaki, television presenter and journalist Raya Abirached, actor Ahmed Malek, actress Suhana Khan, and actor Ishaan Khatter.

The gathering also welcomed actress and singer Yousra, entrepreneur and cultural personality Anas Bukhash, actor Fady El-Sayed, actress Saba Mubarak, entrepreneur and creative Bader Kabbani, actress and television presenter Enjy Kiwan, and actress and model Busra Develi.

Cartier jewelry played a central role in the evening’s visual identity. Egyptian Montenegrin actress and model Tara Emad wore a striking interpretation of the maison’s signature feline icon, pairing a Panthere de Cartier torque necklace articulated and set with white gold, emeralds, onyx, and diamonds with matching Panthere de Cartier earrings.

Nadine Labaki, whose film “Capernaum” received an Oscar nomination, chose Panthere de Cartier earrings in a small rose gold model embellished with onyx, emeralds, and diamonds. Labaki’s connection to Cartier extends beyond jewelry, having previously contributed to the maison’s Women’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, where she took part in discussions on women and social change.

Saba Mubarak brought a warmer take on the Panthere motif in yellow gold earrings accented with tsavorite garnets, onyx, and diamonds, paired with a burnt orange gown. Enjy Kiwan opted for the Clash de Cartier line instead, wearing a flexible double-row necklace in rose gold and diamonds alongside matching hoop earrings.

The Buyukada event follows a series of major Cartier activations across the Middle East that have leaned on immersive experiences to showcase the fashion house’s heritage. In 2023, Cartier staged “Into the Wild” in Dubai Design District, transforming the creative neighborhood into a tribute to the feline symbol, complete with an exhibition tracing the Panthere’s evolution throughout Cartier’s history.

The brand returned to the region in 2025 with “A Journey of Wonders,” a high jewelry exhibition at Dubai’s Al-Shindagha Museum that showcased more than 300 pieces while connecting Cartier’s legacy to the UAE’s cultural heritage, marking 25 years of the maison’s presence in the country.
