Dubai RTA Reports Impressive 20.6% Revenue Growth Year Over Year
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority reported a 20.6% year‑on‑year revenue increase in 2025, reaching 5.3 billion dirhams ($1.44 billion), driven by rising use of online services.
Digital transactions surpassed 628 million, a 13% jump. The RTA now offers 105 digital services across six channels, with 96% digital adoption and 98% customer satisfaction.
Smart app usage surged: active users of the RTA Dubai app exceeded 1.2 million, with annual visits up 144% to 68 million. The authority also introduced 18 new services on the app.
RTA scored 94% on Dubai’s Digital Maturity Index, the highest level, and ranked among the top four government entities. It achieved a perfect score in accessibility for People of Determination.
Mattar Al‑Tayer, RTA’s director‑general, said the next phase will focus on expanding AI and emerging technologies to build an advanced digital ecosystem, supporting Dubai’s goal of becoming the world’s smartest city.
