UAE Cybersecurity Council and Veeam Partner to Build Cyber Resilience and Capabilities

The United Arab Emirates Cybersecurity Council and Veeam Software, the Data and AI Trust Company, announced a partnership on Monday. This cooperation aims to increase cyber resilience, support capacity building, and accelerate the adoption of trusted, data- and AI-ready security practices across the United Arab Emirates. Through this cooperation, the Council is able to promote its objective of enhancing national cyber preparation, knowledge sharing, talent development, and operational resilience.

The relationship establishes a framework for collaboration in cybersecurity training, technical exercises, resilience preparedness, research and development, and strategic stakeholder engagement. To help companies prepare for, respond to, and recover from cyber incidents, it supports programs focused on professional development, cyber awareness, knowledge transfer, and building functional capabilities. Joint workshops, training programs, technical working sessions, exercises, and the exchange of experience and best practices in information security and resilience are examples of areas where cooperation can occur.

According to Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, who serves as the Head of Cybersecurity for the United Arab Emirates Government, the United Arab Emirates remains committed to building a secure, resilient, and future-ready digital ecosystem.” Our partnership with Veeam underscores the value of trusted public-private collaboration in bolstering national cyber resilience, expanding cyber recovery capabilities, and enabling the secure deployment of artificial intelligence and digital technologies.
