Could Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma Have Received Rs 50 Million to Attend Premanand Maharaj’s Ashram?
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have paid a number of visits to Premanand Maharaj’s ashram in Vrindavan, Dubai. These travels have garnered a significant amount of attention from fans and followers of the Indian cricketer and Bollywood actor.
Over the past few years, the pair has made numerous visits to the spiritual guru, and their encounters at the ashram have been widely shared on various social media platforms. Over the course of their visits, they have engaged in conversations with Premanand Maharaj and asked for his blessings.
During the course of their visits, Falahari Maharaj, the president of the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Sangharsh Nyas, has made a claim that has stirred new discussion. As part of the efforts to boost the reputation of the spiritual leader, he claimed that a sum of money equal to Rs 5 crore (Dh 1.9 million) was paid to bring Kohli to the ashram that Premanand Maharaj established.
With that being said, there is currently no information that can be considered reliable to demonstrate that either Kohli or Anushka were compensated for their visit to the ashram facility. In accordance with Cricket Addictor, there is not a single payment record, bank document, contract, or official statement that has surfaced to provide evidence in support of the suspicion.
As a result, the claim has not been independently validated, and it continues to be an allegation that was made by Falahari Maharaj.
Spiritual visits are not something that Kohli and Anushka have been unfamiliar with. In January of 2023, the couple had their first encounter with Premanand Maharaj, and they have attended his ashram on several occasions since then. Even after Kohli retired from Twenty20 International and Test cricket, they have continued to pay each other visits.
