Red Sea Global Expands Luxury Tourism With Amaala-Shura Yacht Network
Red Sea Global has launched its Yacht Network, a new operator for marinas and yacht clubs along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, bringing the company’s marine services under a single management platform for yacht owners, charter guests, captains and crews.
From winter 2026, private and charter yachts sailing the Kingdom’s northwestern coast will be able to travel the marine corridor between Amaala and Shura Island under one berthing agreement, with access to 278 berths across two marinas. Amaala Marina, part of Amaala Yacht Club, will offer 119 berths, and Shura Island Marina will provide 159. Both can host yachts up to 120 meters long, and more marinas and anchorage areas are expected to join the network during 2027.
Red Sea Global Group CEO John Pagano called the launch an important step in strengthening the Red Sea’s standing among the international yachting community. He said the network will give owners and charter guests a connected experience along the coast, while making daily operations easier for captains and crews by coordinating berthing and marine services in one place. The company’s aim, he added, is to make sailing between its destinations as seamless as possible while meeting the service expectations of the global yachting world.
Amaala Yacht Club sits roughly 2,400 kilometers from Monaco via the Suez Canal and serves as a gateway to the Red Sea, linking visitors with Amaala, the ultra-luxury wellness destination Red Sea Global is developing. Shura Island Marina, the largest marina on an island in Saudi Arabia, will be the network’s second hub, with direct access to Shura Island, the center of The Red Sea destination.
The network’s operating standards follow the regulatory code of the Saudi Red Sea Authority and the environmental approach led by Corallium, the Marine Life Institute at Amaala. Red Sea Global is also a member of the Marina Industries Association under the International Council of Marine Industry Associations, as well as the Marine Recreation Association and the Yacht Harbor Association.
