Christopher Aleo, the Swiss entrepreneur and founder of iSwiss Pay, has expanded his business portfolio to include international publishing by acquiring Notizie Geopolitiche, an Italian online newspaper that specializes in international affairs, geopolitics, and foreign policy.
The acquisition, finalized through Switzerland-based iSwiss Deposit S.A., marks the iSwiss group’s entry into the media industry. The group intends to enhance the publication’s international presence and broaden its coverage of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Africa, and emerging markets.
Aleo, a long-term resident of Dubai, is dedicated to fostering a connection between European audiences and developments shaping the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on economic diversification, technological innovation, investment, and diplomatic relations. The newspaper will also investigate the expanding partnerships that connect the Gulf with Europe, Asia, and Africa in the areas of energy, infrastructure, and trade.
Notizie Geopolitiche, established in 2011 by Enrico Oliari, has breportedon political developments and international relations for 15 years. Under the new ownership, itwill maintain its editorial identity ,introduce specialist sections, expand its network of journalists and analysts, and include contributors with direct regional expertise
Additionally, the publication intends to enhance its partnerships with universities, diplomatic missions, embassies, and international institutions in order to offer a more comprehensive analysis and a wider range of perspectives on global developments.
