Corine Palierse: A Dynamic State of Mind Shaping Business, Creation, and Sustainable Futures
A Life Rooted in Nature, Culture, and Discipline
Born with a deep respect for the beauty of nature, Corine Palierse has always been guided by an innate curiosity for art, culture, music, history, and museums. Sport has played an equally important role in her life, offering not just physical strength but mental freedom. Through athletics, floor gymnastics, archery, and martial arts—particularly Okinawan Kobudo and Karaté—she cultivated endurance, patience, perseverance, and self-mastery. These disciplines shaped her ability to adapt to life’s challenges and to transform experience into wisdom.
Creation lies at the heart of Corine’s fulfillment. For her, autonomy is synonymous with freedom, and freedom is essential to personal and professional balance. Despite an atypical career spanning multiple sectors—art, aerospace, energy, legal services, commercial industries, and hospitality—her method of action has remained constant: clearly identify the primary objective, take stock of existing resources, assess needs, measure added value, and act with methodology, discipline, and an open mind. Time, for Corine, is a precious resource to be used wisely and efficiently.
Her second name, Naina, meaning “Life,” reflects her deep commitment to human values. Respect, authenticity, empathy, generosity, and support define her relationships and leadership philosophy. These values generate optimism, mental resilience, and a profound sense of faith that underpins her approach to both business and life.
Artistic Creation and the Birth of Nainy & Co
Registered with the Chamber of Artistic Crafts of Yvelines and the International Chamber of Commerce of Paris, Corine Palierse opened her porcelain painting gallery and workshop in 2006. Dedicated primarily to table arts, furniture, and decoration, the atelier reflected her conviction that beauty and essential function must coexist. Her creations drew inspiration from environmental themes, great navigators, rare bird species, and the culture of the Malagasy Highlands.
With the founding of NAINY & CO in spring 2006, Corine sought to revive the collaborative spirit of 1930s artistic workshops. She brought together stained-glass artists, master glassmakers, ceramists, goldsmiths, crystal makers, sculptors, and stone cutters—each contributing their expertise to shared collections. Within her workshop, she also highlighted the exceptional craftsmanship of Malagasy artisans, particularly in marquetry, embroidery, and lapidary work.
Corine Palierse work gained international recognition through exhibitions at the Louvre Biennale of Arts and Crafts, where she presented her collections alongside those of her artistic partners in a harmony of color and form. Corine traveled extensively across France to meet collaborators—crystal makers in the east, glassmakers and ceramists in the southwest, stained-glass artists in the south—and sourced porcelain from renowned manufacturers such as Haviland, Saint Médard de Noblat, and Villeroy & Boch. Her exhibitions extended to the Artisanales de Chartres, the Paris Fair, professional gatherings in Nice, early-morning markets, and preparations for international exposure in Dubai and China, including a pilgrimage to Jingdezhen, the birthplace of porcelain, to develop her own white porcelain.
Creation also became therapeutic. Following a severe wrist injury during Kobudo training and subsequent surgery, drawing and design through Collect’Or by Nainy & Co became both recovery and expression—art as healing.
A Multifaceted Career Across the Private Sector
Before transitioning fully into luxury hospitality, Corine Palierse built a diverse career across major organizations. Highly comfortable in IT environments, she consistently created her own communication tools, reports, brochures, and websites, and today actively integrates Artificial Intelligence into hospitality processes.
Corine Palierse professional journey includes roles at Aérospatiale, where she improved filing systems and participated in hosting dignitaries during Ariane launch events; Archon Group, a Goldman Sachs subsidiary; GEFCO in human resources administration; Etam Group during the opening of Nainy & Co; Hauts Grillets International School; and collaboration with Ubifrance and French economic missions during her stay in China.
Corine Palierse later held key positions at BNP Paribas Real Estate, Monoprix Group, Microsoft Headquarters, and ENGIE, where she managed high-rise and ERP sites, led crisis and evacuation training, implemented complex operational processes, coordinated large teams, and supported major international events such as COP21. Across all roles, Corine distinguished herself by structuring systems, improving efficiency, and empowering teams through pedagogy.
Luxury Hospitality Leadership and the Creation of HK by CP
Corine’s transition into hospitality management marked a defining evolution. Her experience as Executive Housekeeping Manager across prestigious establishments—including the Ritz Place Vendôme, Paris Marriott Ambassador, Pullman Tour Eiffel, Hôtel Barrière Le Fouquet’s Paris, Villa Marquis by Meliá, Mont Cervin Palace, and many others—gave her deep insight into the operational heart of luxury hospitality.
In October 2023, these experiences led her to found HK by CP, a consulting and audit diagnostic agency focused on Corporate Social Responsibility within housekeeping and room service operations. Built on the pillars of environmental responsibility, economic efficiency, and social impact, HK by CP champions performance through dashboards, pedagogy-based leadership, and recognition of housekeeping as a strategic pillar of hospitality excellence.
Corine Palierse supports hotels during creation, opening, and launch phases, sharing her expertise with initial teams. Her management philosophy centers on communication, listening, fairness, respect, and clarity of objectives—because uniting a team around a shared vision is fundamental to success.
Phoenix & Orchidaceae: From Vision to Sustainable Action
In November 2023, Corine Palierse founded the association Phoenix & Orchidaceae, driven by the ambition to transform Madagascar’s challenges into exploitable resources. Addressing malnutrition, waste management, and biodiversity loss, the association focuses on waste valorization to improve sanitation, generate energy, produce fertilizers, and combat disease.
Renewable energies—solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass—are central to this vision, as Madagascar benefits from abundant natural resources. Pedagogy is the cornerstone of the project: transmitting knowledge to enable autonomy through circular agricultural economies and entrepreneurship.
The initiative includes the creation of Green Schools in agroecology and forestry near major cities, empowering youth to become agricultural entrepreneurs. Sustainable tourism, ecotourism, and biodiversity preservation further support local economies while protecting Madagascar’s unique endemic species. Sponsored by HK by CP, the project integrates hospitality excellence with environmental responsibility, positioning true luxury as the wise appreciation of nature.
A Management Vision Grounded in Human Values
For Corine Palierse, leadership begins with clarity of vision and communication. She believes that within every audience lie future partners—individuals who possess the skills, expertise, and motivation required for success. Motivation, she asserts, is the greatest energy during phases of learning and creation, driving moral endurance and solution-oriented thinking.
Diversity of culture and personality is an enrichment, provided it aligns with shared rules and objectives. The larger the project, the more essential clear communication becomes. Management must embody wise authority, inspire trust, and act as a messenger of fundamental human values: self-respect, respect for others, respect for the environment, and respect for established rules.
